CASE STUDY
The Ford Family Foundation is a major scholarship provider that has funded nearly $250M in scholarships to more than 6,000 students at over 100 institutions in the last 30 years.
In 2022, The Ford Family Foundation started using the Pro Vita platform to consolidate and analyze a wide-range of student data from multiple systems. For the first time in its history, the Foundation team had near real time, dynamic visual displays that allowed filtering across dozens of dimensions.
The team found that not only were they saving significant time over manually combing through reports, but they were also able to see nuanced trends over time, and, with that information, find new ways to collaborate with their higher education partners - all without replacing any existing software.
Denise Callahan, Director of Postsecondary Success at The Ford Family Foundation says, "The Pro Vita platform has given us insights and reporting capabilities we could only dream of before. It has allowed us to speed up our analysis of scholarship application trends by months, and strategic reporting initiatives by years. We are able to use this data to consider how we can work with our University partners in new ways to tackle challenges to student success together."
About Us
Pro Vita is a group of educational professionals and technology start-up leaders who believe that better data can help higher ed and scholarship providers improve student outcomes.

Our tools enable scholarship providers to see and understand the long-term impact that their scholarship programs have on students and communities.
A key component of our approach is consolidating data sources and automating existing data exchange in one common platform. These data sources include application management systems, alumni databases, IPEDS reporting, student transcripts, and public data layers on things like high school attendance.
Pro Vita also works with universities to significantly ease their reporting and institutional research burden. By providing universities and foundations the ability to seamlessly share data and analysis, we make it easier for stakeholders to work together on improving scholarship student outcomes.
Pro Vita is currently seeking 10 scholarship providers and universities to participate in our private beta program. Join us today and help shape the future of scholarship and institutional research reporting.
